Lazy Lines

About two days ago we were suppose to have offshore perfection. I woke up before the sun and got to the beach super early. Unfortunately it hadn't turn offshore yet, in fact it had been onshore and blowing way harder then the day before, so the surf looked very unappetizing. I checked the radar and the various forecast apps and decided to wait it out. About two or so hours later, after a monsoon like rain, the wind finally switched. We all suited up and paddled out. The first couple of hours was rough. The wind was blowing so hard you could hardly get down the faces, plus it was pitching so half the time I was going over the falls. It eventually straightened up a bit and we all got some fun ones. The tide was weird for this entire swell, so you had to watch out or you'd be getting pitched, but it was fun nonetheless.

Logging at the Park

Had a super fun log session today in Panama City at St. Andrews State Park. It was nice and clean, about waist to chest, with crystal clear water. I was riding the new 10'0 Walden and, needless to say, I got some tip time!

Small waves ... Grab the Log

Like always when you buy a new board, a huge flat spell hits. We have consistently had waves here in the gulf the entire winter and spring. I buy my new log and of course we get a two week flat spell. Luckily enough for me it doesn't take much of a wave for the 10'0. We had a small clean morning a few days ago and myself and Tim Carr, owner of Fluid Surf Shop, got out and got to do a little sliding.

New Log

I just went and picked up my new log from Fluid Surf Shop. I've been waiting a few weeks for it to come in, but it's finally here. Its a 10'0 Walden Hang Glider. It's 23 inches wide and 3 3/8 inches thick.
Heres me in front of the shop. Art will soon be added to this blank canvas and I'll post pictures once it's done. Then all thats left to do is wax her up and get her in the water.
